Why not learn a trade?

Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

I hear people talk ab out college all the time.

How far in debt they are.

There is a segment of the population that needs help.

The trades.

and a lot more.

These are had work jobs that will py very very well and not cause you to borrow 10's of thousands.

Many builders and craftsmen will even train you without you going to school.

Think about learning a trade!  It could be a great life choice!

William- college isn't necessary or for everyone. In fact, I have known people who have college degrees but you'd barely know it. Why not allow them to find something they will like and cane a good living at!?

William just like Real Estate is not for everyone.... I have been looking for a contractor to redo our bathroom... let me tell you they charge a good amount and do not present a customer service approach when it comes to putting a proposal together and when you question them they ignore  you:))life is easier for a tradesman than a Realtor....Endre

William, I grew up in the family Shoe Repair business. My brother now runs that store with his son, who will be the 5 generation in the US in that business. I know the trade, but found my way into sales.  It's an honorable business as are the others mentioned.  I agree, why not.

Morning William

I remember it like it was yesterday.  I was about 16 when I helped a man with loading hay onto his truck and then to the loft at his barn.  That day I made up my mind I would do something that would not require such hard work.  A true life-changing experience.  Never had to do a lot of manual labor afterward

I am so with you on this subject! Not everyone is right for college and we should be doing more to teach young people a trade that leads to a good living.

Good morning William.  There a big demand for skilled tradesman and women these days.  This is a good avenue to pursue for some folks.

We are no doubt already experiencing a large shortage of skilled workers these days.

Many in the trades earn much more than those with a 4-6 year degree!
