Great information!!!

You know you need to paint the walls in neutral tones before you  sell, but don’t stop there. Go on and install crown molding in rooms that don’t have it. Currently, the trend in what buyers want is crown molding and high ceilings. Even if you can’t give them high ceilings, you can at least give them the molding. Like the frosting on the cake.

Lisa,

Mature Trees are very attractive to home Buyers. And neighborhoods with tree-lined streets are such are dream. I know one investor who always plants trees in the front yards of his homes, as well as in the front yard of the neighboing property (with the owner's permission, of course).

I once had a client have their address changed with a request from the post office. It was an odd situation where the street name it was on had a bad reputaion in town and there was actually no way to access the home from that street. They changed it to Erie Terrace the street it actually had access from. Lot's better and implied a better neighborhood as well.

Hi Lisa,  Funny things can turn buyers away.  It's not always told to us why they don't like a particular property but I have had buyers walk away because of the name of the road. :)
