4th of July Celebration in St George UT - 2018
The St George UT 4th of July 2018 celebration will be an all-day event. All of the fun will take place at Town Square Park in St George, making it much more convenient to enjoy the festivities!
The fun will begin early at 6:30 am with the traditional Uncle Sam 4K, followed by an early
morning breakfast for everyone. So, get your St. George UT 4th of July 2018 celebration
started off right with these all day events.
Choose some or all of the events to take part in. No matter how you spend your 2018 Independence Day, as long as it’s with your local St George friends and family, it’s sure to be a fun filled day.
The St. George UT 4th of July 2018 celebration fun will be held at Town Square Park in downtown St George UT.
St. George UT 4th of July 2018 Celebration Event Highlights:
6:30 am – Uncle Sam 4K Run, starts and ends in the parking lof west of Town Square
7:00 am -7:45 am - Yoga at Contest Stage
7:30 – 10:00 am - Early Morning Breakfast, for a small fee you can enjoy pancakes, hash browns, eggs and a drink.
7:45 am – The City of St. George 4th of July Celebration Parade will go down Tabernacle Street starting at 800 E. and head toward Town Square (finishing at 200 W.) After the parade, join the City for the singing of the National Anthem at Town Square
9:45 am – 4:00 pm - City of St. George Independence Day Fun and Games Extravaganza! Bring the whole family for this fun day in the park. Many activities will be free.
However, you can purchase a Mega Pass all-day pass for the fun things that will not be free such as the bounce houses and carousal rides.

The Mega Pass will include all-day access to:
- Carnival Rides and Games
- Inflatables
- Climbing Wall
- Games
- Sand Hollow Aquatic Center
- Out Door City Pool (Mega Pass will only include admittance to the Outdoor City, not slide rides.)
- Children's Museum (Children's Museum will be having their Free Day on the 4th of July)
- Carousel Rides
- Train Rides at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park
There will be numerous fun inflatables for kids to use including slides, slip-n-slides, bounce house castles, and a dunk tank. This super fun event will be open all day and located on the Town Square lawn.
There will be music, food booths, face, watermelon seed spitting contest, bounce houses, Slip-n-Slides, scavenger hunt and a few new surprises!
Contests include hot dog eating, frozen T-shirt, diaper dash baby races, donurt eating, Tug O War & 3 legged race, giant twister and Minute to Win It!
Games at Town Square will include Beanbag toss, Cornhole, Giant Chess, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 and many others.
10:00 am - 2:00 pm - City of St George Star Search Talent Show at Town Square Stage
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Entertainment at the Main Stage
7:30 pm – 10:00 pm – Scott McCreery concert at Trailblazer Stadium at Dixie State University by KONY Country. Tickets are $10.00 per person, Everyone MUST have a ticket – NO EXCEPTIONS! Babies too. Gates open at 6:00 pm for first come, first serve seating. The Scott McCreery concert begins at 8:00 pm.
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Music, Main Stage Town Square
10:00 pm - Fireworks presented by the city of St George & Kony 99.9 at Dixie State University Trailblazer Stadium. Additional viewing for fireworks is at the DSU Encampment Mall and is FREE to everyone! Located by the Holland Building.
