How do houses become homes?

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Texas Homes

A house is a house until you move in. You decorate, paint, add your style, pictures, pets and the sounds you love. Suddenly the house comes to life and you are at home. I remember taking a couple to view a beautiful home in the Central Texas Hill Country area. The moment we entered the home you could smell the spaghetti sauce simmering on the gas burner in the kitchen. The homeowners had stepped out for us so we could view their beautiful home.

Every part of the home invited you to experience living this way. After the tour of the home we stopped by the kitchen to enjoy the wonderful smell of dinner about to be served. It was hard to leave, my clients were already picturing themselves in this home.

Good morning Alan and nice to see you again. A home is a place you make, a house is just a building.
