The Anthem real estate market picked back up in May. The total number of homes sold increased by 9% over April, and was up 5% from May 2017. The average sale price of homes that sold in May was up 6% over April and was up 8% from May 2017. The price per square foot also increased by 3% versus April but was up 2% year over year. The 12 month moving average ($338,050) increased 1% month over month and is up 7% from last year. Days on market decreased, now standing at 57 days, down 17% versus April and down 27% from May 2017. The burn rate, (or homes under contract versus homes on the market) remains at 2.73 month’s supply, leaning back toward a more balanced market. There are now 196 homes on the market in Anthem, and 113 homes pending/under contract.
