The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, June 30, and Tuesday, July 3 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, June 30, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Flower Power on Saturday, June 30 at Ploughshares Nursery from Noon to 1:30 pm. This is a hands-on workshop on planting pots. Ploughshares Nursery is at 2701 Main Street in Alameda. Please call 510-755-1102 for more information.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Fun With Food Chains” on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
At the Alameda Point Antiques Faire on Sunday, July 1, you’ll have a great time people watching, buying cools things, and enjoying delicious food. Entry fee is $10 before 7:30 am, $5 after 9:00 am. If you haven’t been to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire you are missing an excellent event. It is located at the end of Main Street at Alameda Point. Rain cancels the Faire but it will be held the following Sunday.
