• On June 20th, Casey's General Store located on Fremont Avenue in Zimmerman reported the theft of 2 DVDs and ice cream. Estimated value of the items take is $12.00.
...in a small town, life can be quite different. Slower, quieter, and less expensive than in a larger community or a big city. It seems to me someone may have adsentmindedly walked out of the store and went home to watch movies and eat ice cream. Come Monday I hope they go back and pay (redfaced) and avoid the legal rath of society.
In the smaller towns of Central Minnesota surrounding St. Cloud, the quality of life is a factor for people who decide to buy a home in a small town. Price is a factor as well. More house for the money and lower taxes, maybe lower HOI premiums. Take in the local baseball team, go fishing, play games in the yard with the kids. .
