Hi, I'm back with more tips for you. For those of you who don't know me yet: I'm Dagmar Bleasdale and I have been posting articles about DIY, home decor, green and healthy living and saving tips for years on my successful blog.
Today I would like to tell you some money saving secrets about how despite not spending much you can afford a fancier lifestyle. It's actually easier than you might think. In my e-book I list the ways I found to add some luxury to my life without overextending myself financially. But there's more I would like to share with you.
If you are thinking of updating some rooms in your house but don't want to pay a fortune, I recommend trying peel-and-stick wallpaper. It's so easy, and the wallpaper comes in thousands of different designs that won't break the bank.
What do you want to save money on? In the past, I've always found it difficult not to spend too much on party supplies, food, and gifts for people I truly care for. But then, when my husband had a big birthday coming up, I educated myself and leaned how to throw an amazing party on a budget.
Even if you only try some of my tips, I can assure you that you will save lots of money over time. It's all about the mindset. When I drove through Pennsylvania last year, I visited some Amish families who seem to get by with so little and still have a tight community, support and a happy life. What I learned from that visit, went into my work and my philosophy about life, and helps me to find more ways to combine happiness and doing more with less despite a hectic schedule.
