Today is my first day in over one and a half decades of not being a full time practicing Realtor.
While I will maintain an active Florida Real Estate Broker license I will only act as a referring broker. It is not meant to be a living income but rather continued service to loyal clients.
A big part of the last ten plus years has been my daily ActiveRain experience. As you can see, on this first day of "retirement," I am still here. That is my plan. I have made too many friends and learned way too much to walk away.
ActiveRain has been, and will continue to be, a positive influence and addition to my daily routine.
My last real estate transaction was not the clean, problem free pathway to a closing. That is pretty much the was the business has been since the early 200s. My first transaction was a fierce (parties to the transaction), emotional roller coaster ride.
That is the real estate business - up and down, a winding road, but quite rewarding.
