If you are looking for a local way to celebrate the Fourth of July, then look no further. There are several fun activities right here on the Peninsula to enjoy.
Palos Verdes Estates will be having their 57th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Malaga Cove School located at 300 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates. This fun day will begin at 9:30 a.m and will include face painting, a children’s patriotic bicycle parade, plus a magic show just to start the day. They will also be presenting the Kenneth T. Norris Heritage of Freedom Awards, The Van Dine Family Americanism Award and this year a Military Service Award. This is a fun free celebration where you can picnic, enjoy family games and listen to patriotic music while taking in the views. For more information and times for events click here.
Rancho Palos Verdes will be hosting their 43rd Annual Independence Day Celebration at Point Vicente Park Civic Center located at 30940 Hawthorne Blvd, Rancho Palos Verdes. This program starts at 11:00 a.m., and will be enjoying a watermelon roll contest, egg toss, pie eating contest, arts & crafts, kiddie carnival rides and much more. There will also be a food court and beer & wine garden. Their is no charge for the celebration, but parking is $5.00. Terranea Resort will be having their 5th Annual Music on the Meadows celebration with live entertainment, adventure activities and much more on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, starting at 2:00 p.m. The Terranea Resort is located at 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes. The afternoon will be filled with locally inspired food, craft beers and a variety of musical headliners including Al Jardine, Ambrosia, Stephen Bishop, and more.
