View Homes of Clark County - Market Report for MultiGen Homes

Real Estate Broker/Owner with ViewHomes of Clark County - Nature As Neighbors

Nature as Neighbors Offers MultiGen Living

In 2014 the Pew Research Center reported that a record 60.6 million Americans lived in multigen households. That was nearly one in 5 households. We know that number continues to grow each year because our specialty - view homes with "elbow room for the soul" - works well for multigen homes, too.  One of our ViewHomes™ listings, 38402 Rosemary Lane in Washougal has enormous potential for a multigen household. Plus, there is a multigen estate coming to the market this Fall, with the potential for 3 households!

It helps to know what the market looks like when you start shopping for a multigen home. Here is a snapshot of ViewHomes™ of Clark County with dual-living features, starting at $400,000:
(Note: these averages do not include a spectacular Multigen Listing for $12,500,000.)

ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.

I was looking at your new listing and it made me think about my remodel in Hawaii, LOL. I was thinking how much better that kitchen would look with a slide-in electric range that doesn't have a back to it, and all the controls on the front top. Learned that leaning over an electric stove to reach something in the upper cabinet can cause a person to accidentally turn on the burners.

Debb and Bernie, I think it's wonderful that multigen housing is a growing trend. I think of the days my grandparents lived with my parents often. Some of our best memories were made during that time. 10.5% annual increase in sale price in Clark County is very strong. Your market reports always have a lot of valuable information. There's no one else I'd considering working with in your area. You're simply the best. Have a very happy 4th!
