There are times in peoples lives when home ownership may not be the best choice.... Or is it? No. Yes. Not sure? If you're in this quandry you know who you are. You may be new to the Keller or North Ft. Worth area and aren't sure where you want to live. Or maybe you've almost saved up the down payment for that great home in Trophy Club or Roanoke, but worry that someone else may swoop in and snatch it up before you're ready.
Consider a Lease with the Right to Purchase
It may be worth your while to check into the Home Partners' Lease with the Right to Purchase Program. The program lets you find a home among those on the market for sale. So you'll find your choices are much wider than just those for lease.
You'll also be able to predetermine and lock in your lease rate for three years. Rental rates only increase 3.75% per year. That's probably less than what you'd find in most other leases in the area. And, if you decide you do want to purchase the home you're free to do so any time during the term of the lease. And at a final price that is also predetermined.
A Road to Homeownership with Flexibility and Control
Just like with a typical lease, there is a deposit required (2 months). And Home Partners will want to check your credit, income and criminal background. But unlike a typical lease, you'll have the option to renew the lease each year already knowing the new rental price, and, you'll have the opportunity to make the home yours at any time.
How do You Get Started?
First you'll want to get approved. Then work with me to search the homes for sale that meet Home Partners' criteria. Generally the home will need to be listed for between $100,000 and $450,000, free from material deficects (foundation, etc.) and in an approved area that meets the good schools and quality neighborhood guidelines set up by Home Partners. Once you've chosen a home, I'll submit it for approval.
