Alameda Walks meets at Crab Cove Visitor’s Center on Saturday, July 7 at 9:00 am for an hour and 15 minutes walk to Grand Street. The Shoreline walk will be lead by the East Bay Regional Park staff Susan Ramos. No pets, please. The Center is located at 1231 McKay Avenue. The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, July 7, and Tuesday, July 10 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, July 7, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Crab Cove Campfire” on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
The Jolly Cork Ball, another Peers events, on Saturday, July 7 at 7:00 pm to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Alameda Elks Lodge. Vintage ballroom dance lesson. Bangers and Mash will perform Victorian couples dances. $25 admission at the door at the Alameda Elks Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda
