A Mini AR Meet-up in Pennsylvania
This was a very special MeetUp at Longwood Gardens. The weather was beautiful and we took lots of photographs.
Gita Bantwal was in Denver October 2017 to visit her brother, and we were able to spend some time together. It was nice to get to know her better. At that time, she asked if I could come and visit her sometime.
Finally about a month ago, was able to make plans to leave town and fly to Philly. Before I arrived, she made some wonderful plans on where to go, and one of which was to Longwood Gardens. If you follow Roy Kelley, you KNOW this is his and Dolores' favorite place, so naturally she had to call.
Today we met at the Gardens, and spent 4.5 hours roaming the gorgeous grounds of this spectacular area. So many beautiful flowers, walls of foliage, and veggie gardens too. My favorite was the orchid room, but unfortunately, many turned out fuzzy. I need to work on my camera skills. I am anxious to see Roy's pictures, as he is the expert in this area. Gita, Dolores and I had a great time talking about lots of things along the sidewalks.
Sure fun to meet face to face with those you have been communicated with for so many years. This picture was taken on the "Whispering Bench", and you can sit at either end of the bench, and you can hear each other!
Roy had someone take a photo with all four of us, but have not received a copy of that one, so this photo is just of the three Rainers.
