Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.

This fascinating museum, situated in Scottsdale Old Town, covers information about all 19 western states, from Texas to the Dakotas (including Hawaii and Alaska) and is, basically, 35,000 sq. ft. of captivating facts, painting and artifacts for everyone.

The museum regularly features changing exhibitions, gallery tours and activities that bring to exciting life its Western heritage.

One of the museum’s most current shows includes the Cowboy Artists of America, incorporating contributions of its 77 artists to western culture and fine arts. The museum’s helpful staff are happy to answer questions, and there is also a gift shop selling high quality merchandise.
