What Is Happening in the Sacramento Real Estate Market?

By
Real Estate Agent with Lyon Real Estate BRE #00697006

If the Sacramento real estate market makes you feel like there's something happening here; what it is ain't exactly clear, then you've come to the right place. We're at the tail end of a long strange trip. What is wrong with me this morning, I can't stop the music, LOL. Every thought that pops into my head, it's like we have an app for that, no, wait, it's a song.

Yes, no doubt about it, Gwen, our market is a big squirrely. We are spooning up a big old second-serving of bok choy but two minutes later you're hungry again. Hey, Chinese food. Inventory is going up yet sales are trailing.

I'm sure you'll soon read reports with corporate spins, as there always has to be a positive spin to real estate. Nobody wants to be accused of sending sales into the abyss, like a devil in disguise. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Big Uptick in Sacramento County housing report for June 2018.

Hmm Lots more homes coming on the market.  Looks like it happened last summer as well.    Time to make sure the homes are priced right from the start!

Joan Cox Well, at the moment, believe it or not, all of my listings are pending except for my new bungalow downtown, and I expect that will be sold by tomorrow. Then, I'm basically out of active sales again. Fortunately, I have a few in the hopper.
