Lawn Ornaments at Green Thumb Nursery
We went to our favorite nursery, Green Thumb Nursery in San Marcos, for some plants for the garden today.
We have been buying flowers here, and pots, for many years and I always marvel at how much this nursery has to offer (flowers, bushes, groundcovers, trees, pots and planters, fountains, garden decor and ornaments) and how large it is. It just goes on and on and on.
I couldn't resist snapping photos of some of the plants, but in particular these larger-than-life lawn ornaments. I'm not sure the garden gnome (taller than me) was really for sale, but the chicken was...priced at only $2,300 dollars. The orange and red dragon-like creature was intriguing but I had a hard time imagining it in a garden, but you never know.
The rusted double bed frame (bottom photo) was being used as a planter for a patchwork of seedums - very cool looking.
