Marion County is on the rise!

Last week, the state of Florida approved the $5.5M proposal for the county's new commerce park, just west of Interstate 75. Most of the funds will be allocated to the widening of CR-484 and the extension of utility lines. Marion County's five-year capital improvement plan also includes a matching $6M that will be put toward the project.

The addition of this park is expected to eliminate the need for workers to travel into Ocala or over to Citrus County. Public officials believe this park will attract top-tier tenants to the city and will revive the business and commercial aspects in the Marion Oaks community.
