Jupiter is famous for it's fabulous beaches and perfect weather. With miles of waterways, it's easy to see why condo life might be the perfect option for someone looking for waterfront living.
#1. OCEAN TRAIL: How can you go wrong with direct ocean front property? Ocean Trail is located just south of the Jupiter Inlet and the ONLY condo community which allows residents the ability to be on the beach without having to dodge traffic crossing a roadway. There are 4 direct waterfront ocean view condo buildings and the 5th building (the 500 building) is nestled behind the majestic curved monuments, with some units peaking through to the crystal blue waters. Condo units are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, accessed through a manned gated guard shack.
Ocean Trail is adjacent to the scenic par 3 Jupiter Dunes Golf Course, and right down the street from the Maltz Theatre, Guanabana's, U-Tiki, Jetty's, Square Grouper, Schooners and 1000 North restaurants. If you're more adventurous, Blueline Surf & Paddle Company is a great place to rent stand up paddleboards, surfboards and kayaks, and they have a variety of ongoing lessons, tours and events. One of their better offerings is the unlimited rental pass for $500 a year, great for people with limited storage (condo dwellers).
#2. SEA COLONY: Beach Road is the only thing between you and the ocean. Condos in Sea Colony are quietly tucked away behind the gated guard shack on US Highway 1. After major exterior renovations within the past few years, the buildings are spruced up and look great. Condos on the east side have ocean views, and single family homes are located on the north west side of Sea Colony. Units have garages, balconies, and views of lakes and amenities. You'll be hard pressed to find a condo in Sea Colony that's NOT in a great location. It's also a short distance to Loggerhead Marine Life Center and the Juno Beach Pier. Great bike rides up and down the pathway on Beach Road lead to the Jupiter Inlet 2 miles north of the development.
Located just north of Marcinski Road and the Bluffs Shopping Plaza, its convenient location near Publix groceries, boutiques, gas stations, banks and great restaurants puts Sea Colony at #2 on our list.
#3. OCEAN CREST: Ocean Crest is a "Y" shaped building with over a 3rd of the condos boasting an ocean front view. The western side of Ocean Crest faces the parking lot and Jupiter Ocean Racket Club, with prices lingering at roughly a third of the price as ones facing the east. The pool deck has had a recent face lift and BBQ grills are open for residents to prepare meals poolside. The underground parking garage is an added benefit, with the western entrance shielding vehicles from the salt air and elements.
Located just south of the Indiantown Road & US Highway 1 intersection, Ocean Crest is minutes to Harbourside and all of its fabulous dining options such as Bravo, Burger Fi, The Woods, Tommy Bahama's, Too Bizarre, One Broken Egg in addition to the Wyndham Hotel. On the northeast side of the intersection you'll find The Shoppes of Jupiter with a McDonalds, Chili's, Staples office supply store, Bealls clothing, Cinepolis movies and more.
#4 JUPITER YACHT CLUB: Located at the southeast base of the Indiantown Road bridge, the Jupiter Yacht Club condos surround the yacht basin with spectacular sunset views. Condos are minutes to the beach and boaters enjoy the close proximity to the Jupiter Inlet. The yacht basin offers convenient docking options for small vessles to larger yachts, and a handful of waterfront dining establishments and bars offer panoramic serene views. Constructed in early 2000's by WCI, Jupiter Yacht Club are some of the newer properties along Jupiter Riverwalk and intracoastal.
Jupiter Yacht Club is conveniently located across the street from the Publix shopping center on the SE corner of US Highway 1 and Indiantown Road. The plaza includes top notch dining options like The Food Shack, Sala Thai, Natures Way Cafe and Outback Steakhouse. There's a bicycle shop, pizza take-out, surf shop, boutiques, fast food, gas station, cigar bar, Double Roads with live bands and full service bar and a bank. Adjacent to the Jupiter Yacht Club is the Dive Bar, specializing in sushi and fresh seafood. The circular aquarium in the center of the bar has an amazing array of colorful fish, and the outside dining area offers up great views of the marina.
#5. JUPITER ISLAND: The island is an entity all it's own. Located on the north side of the Jupiter Inlet, condos are concentrated on the southern side of the island with both ocean front and intracoastal options. Jupiter Island is located on the north side of the Jupiter Inlet and is easily accessible from the south Alternate A1A & US Highway 1 intersection. From the north, US Highway 1 and Bridge Road east will land you on the northernmost side of the island. Jupiter Island is pretty much its' own entity, and home to Kid Rock, Tiger Woods, Olivia Newton John, etc. Single family homes are priced well over $1 million, however condos are still reasonably priced, starting in the high $300's (as of 5/1/2019).
From the south side of the Jupiter Island, condo dwellers have access to the intracoastal and beaches from the public park system. It's common place on the weekends to see the locals congregating on the intracoastal beach, BBQing, fishing, sunbathing and snorkeling.
A variety of restaurants just north of the Alternate A1A and US Highway 1 intersection include the Lighthouse Diner, Shipwrecks, Russo's Subs, Lenore's Italian, Time To Dine Diner, Rancho Chico and a Wendy's. Don't feel like eating out? Pinder's Fish Market is the place to go for some of the freshest fish in town. There's a Publix shopping center at the next traffic light north as well as clothing stores and a gym. A little further up the road and you'll find Tiki 52 which is an open bar concept with live music overlooking a scenic marina and the intracoastal waterway.
