"Caught on Camera"

Well has anyone taken the course "Caught on Camera?" I have not taken the course yet but I will be on the list when the next course is given. I heard that this is about the agents being tested and caught on camera.

Whether it is through a Seller or buyer! It is a 3 hour CE given here in Ohio.

Basically, it is a refersher course on the rights and responsibilites under the Sherman Anti Trust Act. Don't get caught on camera saying and doing the wrong things!!! I think agents need these refresher course to let them know that we cannot bad mouth another agent etc., Being ethical and obeying the law is the key in keeping your real estate license.

I have had phone calls when I feel it was a FREC officer (Florida Real Estate Commission). They're pushing to get me to answer questions like: Are there kids in the neighborhood, are there a lot of "old people" in that community, is there a Jewish community around.

That is scary Chris! I have not had that happen to me, but I do very frequent get buyers that e-mail me and ask me that question. I tell them that I will send them a relocation package of the area and if they are in the area I tell them they need to ride around the area that they are thinking of purchasing to see for themselves. Yes, we do have to be very careful what we say or do....

It's like being on Camera.

Thanks Bob! The best is always to ask the Chamber of Commerce, Police department, and of course the School district they are inquiring about.

Good poet we always should act as if some one is watching and learn to say the same thing to everyone. When people ask I tell them to go to my web site and it has links to organizations that have all that info about schools, demographics, crime ext.

Don't tell them but give them the location of the info.
