~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~
Did you notice last month that FB eliminated their seldom used "Trending" option that gave users a snapshot of the topics that were popular across the platform? Currently, they are testing a couple of new options to help us all stay informed. Those include "Breaking News Label" and "Today In". Both of these are supposed to ensure the news we see on FB is trustworthy and from reliable sources. If you do not see these options yet, do not be alarmed as they are being tested only in select markets and with specific publishers. More to come as both of these options develop.
Did You Know...According to The Social Skinny, every 60 seconds there are 510K comments made and 136K photos uploaded to the social media giant. To compete for consumer attention your information needs to stand out from the crowd. Does it? ;-)
I know you hear it often enough but it bears repeating every once in awhile...if you want to be successful on social media (regardless of platform) you need to actively engage with others and provide something of value. If you do not have the time to do both of these things, it is either time to hire a virtual assistant to take action on your behalf or move on from the site and stop wasting your time. Bad @$$ marketing takes time and effort to get and sustain results. It really is that simple!
