I just wanted to thank everyone who gracioiusly gifted tons of items for me for the Penny Social at the Union Presbyterian Church. It was our first time trying a Penny Social and we were rather successful. We raised $2,000. Not bad for a first try. Our fundraising committee is always looking for ideas to raise money for the Christian Education Fund. Any ideas out there? Thanks again - Susan

Thanks for asking about our Penny Social. This was our first try at a Penny Social. We usually do a fall fair in the first week of October. At last year's fall fair we raised over $17,000. Our Penny Social this year we raised $2,000. I am not sure if we will be having another one, at least not for another year. But you can certainly visit our fall fair early October.
