2018 ND State Fair Parade

The 2018 North Dakota State Fair Parade kicked off at 9:30 Saturday morning. As usual I set up my seats at 8:00 AM. I'm very happy to say it was a real enjoyable time and the weather was absolutely perfect.

There were about 250 entries into this years parade which was typical. I lasted through the first 150 entries and by then my cloth grocery bag was filled to the brim with tootsie rolls.

Horses, StagecoachStagecoach and horses.

Senator Hoevan and Bob Timm

Native AmericanThere were Native Americans

and Aliens.and Aliens!

Bike built for 41941 Harley

Bicycles, motorcycles, and much much more.

What fun, Bob! This must be a big deal if Miss America rides in the parade. I don't know if I could have sat through 250 floats myself.

I didn't make it through all 250 myself Nina Hollander but lucky for me the parade literally passes just 400' from my door. The 2018 Miss America just happens to be from North Dakota . What surprised me was that she had 3 body guards and our US Senator and Representatives had none.

Thanks Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate . The weather was absolutely perfect for earthlings but it may have a little warm for those space aliens. I don't know which indian Nation this person represented but there is a good chance it is Lakota Sioux.

250 is pretty typical for the parade Jackie DAVIS but at the height of the oil boom I know it was over 300.
