The city of Allen is located 25 miles north of Dallas, Texas. It is named in MONEY’s “Best Places to Live 2017” as #2 in the nation. Second quarter 2018 statistic showed a decrease in sales volume from 452 for second quarter 2017 to 389 for second quarter 2018. Median sales price also decreased a little from $340,000 for second quarter 2017 to $335,000 for second quarter 2018. Days on the market for all homes in 2018 was slightly longer than in 2017 except for homes between $501k - $750k. There was not home under $150k sold in second quarter 2018. List Price to Sale Price increased in 2018 from 0.5% to 1.1%.
In conclusion, Allen is still a very healthy and strong seller’s market.
