The Story About Anna Way is a Story of People

Real Estate Agent with Lyon Real Estate BRE #00697006

So often when I write about my day in blogs, I get rather technical. All hung up on some legal point or some new maneuver I've figured out to bypass an annoyance. While it doesn't happen to me all the time this way, it can be easy to forget about the people in a real estate transaction. I tend to compartmentalize steps to a transaction. Mostly focused on the outcome.

Then, when a transaction closes, I talk about the things I did right and how I orchestrated certain scenarios. But today, I'd like to talk more about the other side of the transaction. The buyer's agent and first-time home buyers. Buying a home from an immigrant who only 3 years ago was a first-time home buyer himself, moving now across the country.

You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: First-Time Home Buyers in Sacramento Just Closed on Anna Way.

Good morning Elizabeth. Real estate is often hard, for the client and yes the agent as well.

Sheila Anderson Yes, an agent commented a few days ago about how hard closing a sale was lately, and I said welcome to the club. Just about every single escrow I've closed over the past few months has been a struggle in one form or another. In fact, there have been few clear-sailing, easy-peasy transactions. Usually a handful of those balance things out . . .

That's an interesting story, Elizabeth.  Funny thing though, I've been in Sacramento all my life, and didn't recall ever seeing Anna Way.  I actually Googled it to see where it was located.  Interestingly enough it's close to Darwin and Ethan, which I know quite well.

These days it's rare for me to be a Buyers agent unless I'm in a dual agency situation Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents but I do always think about the other side especially after the close when they have questions of the builder I represent.
