In our area Multi family homes can be side by side or up and down. It is common to find 2 to 4 family homes. We have many buyers who look to buy as an wner occupied home. Investors, you may find 6, 10 and even 24 unit buildings in our area.  

 

WHAT IS THE MARKET LIKE?  SHOULD I BUY OR SELL A HOME THIS SUMMER 2018? Lets look back and review the Real Estate market in the Manchester NH area THIS SUMMER. 2018 has been a wonderful year for Real Estate. Over all a very busy market that sees new listings coming on the market. 

 

HOME SELLERS who listed with us enjoyed relatively quick sales and at great prices when they list with us.

 

HOME BUYERS who bought through us enjoyed getting ultra low interest rates. They got an insight of what new listing were hitting the market and used our tips to have their offers accepted and closed on their dream homes.  Interest rates bumped a little the start of August which has seen a rush of buyers who were waiting, to act now.

 

WHAT DO WE SEE FOR THE END 2018? During the last week, the Fed raised rates. However they had a very small affect on mortgage rates. Rates are the lowest you may see for this year. If you are thinking of selling your home, that means now may be the time to sell rather than wait .

My personal opinion is for a beginning owner occupant a 4-family is ideal. The other 3 rents will pay for the mortgage. AND for investors, the 6 - 24 unit bldgs are the way as long as you use a competent property management company
