Friends family and clients often ask...
So how's the radio show going?
It is has been five years since I became the host of All About Real Estate. Each week there has been a different show.
Some shows have guests, some shows have themes, some shows have callers with special topics.
Never sure what the show will be like but I do love the spontaneity.
There have been owners talking about the unique features of their home. There have been sellers who have shared the selling process. There have been buyers who have had a pleasant transaction with me. There have been buyers who have called to let me know what kind of home they were looking for.
There have been industry leaders, like Floyd Wickman, on the show. There have been AR members, stagers, consultants, lenders, attorneys, photographers and even other Realtors®
There are callers during (it is a live call in show) and after the show with questions or comments.
A few of the discussions have been home inspections, packing, moving challenges, aging in place, getting the house ready to sell, appraisals, title questions, termites, radon, emotional support animals, buying the wrong house, buying the right house, contingencies and even home owner scams.
This has been a wonderful experience for me and I love talking
ALL ABOUT REAL ESTATE.
Of course I talk about all my listings and how each one is different. We have discussed the forever home, selling a house furnished, right sizing, the beach front home, and the $1.75 million villa with indoor and outdoor pool.
We have talked about assisted living, the contemporary, the 'cloneonial', the one being sold "AS IS", the five level Canton townhouse, the private retreat on 25 acres, the home I sold 18 years ago and now listed it again, the home on land that can be subdivided, the 2700 foot penthouse condo and the condo under $100,000.
My goal is to get the most exposure and find the right buyers. When meeting with buyers and sellers, I merge their questions into the show. Again hoping to help others with the same concerns.
My show is sometimes a diary of what's happening from the previous week.
Having the radio show has been a good way to network and let the public know how I run my real estate company
HomeRome Realty and my tag line...Sell Your Home With Margaret Rome.
Charities have benefited from the show, most recent have been
Second Chance and the Maryland SPCA.
