Animals of All Kinds

By

Some of my favorite friends!

clear water

Clear water of Mackinaw Island is a favorite swimming spot for these Canadian geese.

They seemed to like me taking pictures of them as they swam by.

Wildlife is amazing!

I could spend all day long watching animals, and some days I do just that.

Hungry man

This little fellow is a hungry man.  He will eat corn and grain right out of your hand.  He seems to never get full.

He will come back for more every time you replenish the supply.  He lives at a Nature Park for rescued animals.

Animals bring us such joy.  It is peaceful to watch them in the wild.  They add so much to life.  How could anyone be mean to an animal?  It makes you wonder what kind of hate lives in the heart of an animal abuser.  I think it is very dark and there should be heavier criminal penalties for animal abuse.

When we teach our children to love and protect animals, we give them opportunities for happiness and ensure a better world for the future.

Chester Chipmunk

Whether they are little creatures like Chester Chipmunk or

Great big creatures like

Stegosaurus, let's take care of all our wonderful animals!

Stegosaurus

I guess the only way to take care of Steggie is to keep the kids back a ways.  You can visit him at Dinosaur Gardens in Ossineke, Mi.

He has a cousin at the Dinosaur Trail in Granbury, TX.  That is a bed and breakfast with a lovely trail full of dinosaurs that I built about 20 years ago.  These are two great places to visit with or without the children.

Animals of all kinds are always fascinating!

Ricki, love the pictures. There is a place called Dinosaur Land right down the road from my office. It is a large area with many full-sized life like dinosaurs. It's quite a place for little kids (adults too) to go to see just how big many dinosaurs were.

I love watching animals as well. We have a back deck where we can enjoy our meals, and there's always something running around. A few weeks ago, we saw a family of raccoons (mom and about 5 young ones) rushing through our property to get to the one on the other side of the road. There's a little creek over there, so maybe that's where they were headed. It was fun to watch.

Hi Kat Palmiotti, I would have liked to see that.  We have a zoo in our backyard.

Hi Joe Pryor,  That is right.  I love all animals. Wait til you see the new pictures I got of a porcupine visiting my backyard last night.  It will be in a future blog.
