What's the word Wednesday? Beauty

Last weekend, I decided to take a drive up to Elverson to see the sunflower fields that I have heard so much about.  The story goes that the car wash up that way, Please Wash Me Car Wash, was having some visibility problems when someone planted a cornfield nearby blocking the view of the car wash.

SunflowersThe owner got a bright idea and planted sunflowers.

They are glorious.

They are so worth the ride to Elverson.

I even paid for a car wash as a thank you for the beautiful field.

You can read more about it here.

Today's word is beauty and it is in strong supply in Chester County.  Everywhere you look, in every season, there's something to lift your heart.

A local nursery plants a huge sunflower field that is very popular.  One of these days I have to make it over there during bloom season.  Sunflowers are one flower we do not have in our own personal garden.

I have one growing out of a planter that must have been gifted from a bird!  It's blooming right now!
