~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~
Lots of FB changes recently, especially as it relates to sharing of information with 3rd party apps. If they have not specifically and formally requested information, their FB API access was cut-off on August 1st.
Closer to home for many of us is the addition of a new Tab on the left side-bar titled "Info and Ads". This tab gives us the capability to check out any ads a particular page or brand is currently running. Use it to reverse engineer what others are doing or to just snoop and see what your local competitors are up to. Check it out...
Did You Know...According to Wordstream, 53% of U.S. residents use FB several times a day. Hopefully those in your local area are using up some of those daily checks to read or view your information and ultimately contact you for real estate assistance. ;-)
I have seen lots of posts here and elsewhere the past couple of weeks about Facebook ads and whether or not they are worth the investment. It depends on what you want to achieve. If you expect to get 5 sellers with every $20 ad your expectations are probably too high. Can you get new clients and prospects from ads. Definitely. Will you? That depends on the ad, demographic you target, length of time the ad runs, etc. They work, but like everything else we do, they require effort to find the right audience.
