Thirst for Nature Event: Weather

Sip on a Hurricane while listening to NOAA Warning Coordination Meteorologist Paul Yura, who will cover a variety of weather topics including severe weather, tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding and weather preparedness. The program includes a craft for children.
Movies in the Park: “The Little Mermaid”
Come out early, pick your spot, get a movie snack or two and enjoy free entertainment before each movie. This Movie in the Park showing features “The Little Mermaid”. The pool and soccer fields will be open for free play/swim from 6:30-8:30pm, and the movie begins at dark.
Moondance Concert Series: Joe King Carrasco
Come enjoy our outdoor concert series, Moondance, under the oaks and evening stars at Cibolo Nature Center & Farm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, drinks & eats (if you like), kids, grandparents, and friendly dogs on leashes for an evening full of live music, dancing, and fun at the CNC. Extremely casual!
Kendall County Fair and Rodeo

This will be the 113th Annual Kendall County Fair !!
At the gate to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, a vibrant rural community where agricultural industries are encouraged, agricultural education is promoted and where agriculture, horticulture and livestock management are flourishing, the Kendall County Fair Association works hard to maintain the agricultural traditions, enhance agricultural education and encourage rural development both now and into the future.
There will also be lots of vendors to check out. The vendors have awesome food, jewelry, hand crafted items and so much more!
The Queen’s Pageant will be held on Thursday night, Rodeo on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Livestock show on Saturday & Sunday and the great exhibits in the Homestead Heritage Exihibit Hall. These exhibitors put their heart and soul into these exhibits – take some time to stroll through! Don’t forget the Parade on Main Street on Saturday morning!!
