Lately I've been seeing a huge trend of would be home owners, or current home owners longing to move away from HOA governed communities. Jupiter has a few great choices when it comes to less restrictive neighborhoods. Not all are free of deed restrictions, but you won't feel that overwhelming presence of big brother breathing down your neck when residing at the following best rated Jupiter communities.


Jupiter Farms Equestrian Community

#1. JUPITER FARMS. With so much land (a minimum of 1.25 acres), it's hard to antagonize anyone without really giving it a full blown try. When I first moved to Jupiter, I had a home on Alexander Run... and at 22 I can attest that firing M80's through a WW1 replica cannon will cause the neighbors to get their panties in a wad. But other than the massive lawn up keep and the extra drive time to town and work, JUPITER FARMS is hard to beat when it comes to avoiding any sort of authority to mess with your daily life. Maplewood Jupiter homes for sale#2. MAPLEWOOD. Located off Toney Penna just west of Military Trail. Maplewood has a low HOA of $15 a month. Homes range in price from the mid $300's to low $500's. The HOA fee covers the maintenance of the entry ways and mild patrolling of the community. You really need to be on your worst behavior to raise a red flag in Maplewood. Also included in this general area is Brentwood and a few select finger streets off Military and Pennock Lane.

#3. RIVERSIDE DRIVE AREA lines the north side of the Loxahatchee River with 1/2+ acre waterfront lots. Direct ocean access and mega mansions put this area out of the radar of most homeowners, but for those who can foot the bill this is by far the best option for avoiding HOA policing. #4 CENTER STREET AREA is located on the south side of the Loxahatchee River, and a majority of the homes line deep water canals. Direct ocean access is perfect for boaters and lack of HOA gives residents the freedom to enjoy life. New architecture is mixed with old Floria and a local vibe abounds.

Jupiter Village Homes for Sale#5. JUPITER VILLAGE is an affordable community with a low HOA, various communities and centrally located. The Jupiter Village HOA for single family homes is less than $50 a month and includes common area maintenance and a community pool. Centrally located, minutes to the beach and a quick commute to West Palm Beach it can't be beat if you're looking for a neatly manicured neighborhood with home prices lingering in the mid $200k to $300k range.
