Annual Back-To-School Meeting
Sponsored By The Ballantyne Breakfast Club
One of the best attended meetings each year, the Ballantyne Breakfast Club's August 11th annual Back-to-School meeting is a great opportunity to meet the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent, Clayton Wilcox, who along with members and representatives from CMS, will provide an update on the accomplishments of the last school term, as well as discuss goals and objectives for the coming school term. The meeting also provides the public an opportunity to directly address questions to Superintendent Wilcox and other school representatives.
All Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings are open to the public at no cost. Founded in 2001 as a communication form, The Ballantyne Breakfast Club is now in it's 17th successful year of providing opportunities for Ballantyne and South Charlotte residents to meet and to learn about community events and priorities relating to local development, rezoning, education, transportation, safety and city/county government. Ballantyne Breakfast Club's slogan that "an informed community is a better community," is spot on.
Whether you've lived in Ballantyne/South Charlotte for many years or are a newcomer, the Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings are a "must go" to stay on top of neighborhood developments. But keep in mind, you don't need to live in Ballantyne to be welcomed to Ballantyne Breakfast Club meetings.
