Carlsbad's popular Shop with the Chef 4-part dinner series continues in the Village on Wednesday August 22.
You can join a select few guests (maximum of 18) and Chef Brad of The Compass in Carlsbad Village on August 22 (one more event remains on September 26 with chef and restaurant details TBD) for a memorable “farm to table” experience.
The market tour/shopping begins at 6 pm, with dinner to follow at 6:30 pm.
First, join Chef Brad as he finds inspiration at the State Street Farmers Market in downtown Carlsbad Village, and selects local ingredients for dinner. I bet you will be able to pick up some good shopping tips and things to watch for, such as what certified organic really means.
After shopping guests will adjoin to a private table at the Compass Restaurant to watch Chef Brad’s preparations for a delightful multi-course meal.
Tickets for the Shop with a Chef dinner are $60; drinks are not included in pricing! It’s a great deal, and sure to be lots of fun to see a talented chef at work from shopping, to watching him cook, to enjoying delicious food.

The Compass Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor in the Village Faire shopping area in the heart of the Village at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, just over the railroad tracks from the State Street Farmers Market.
