It's kind of fitting since today is World Cat Day, that today's word is cat. I have always had at least one cat. I've always admired their gracefulness, their independence, and their beauty. As a child, I often said that I wanted to come back as a well-loved cat.
Right now, I have two lovely tuxedo cats. Dusty, my boy cat, has a white stripe on his nose. His little sister, Dani, has a little white chin.
Cats are gorgeous but they do present a problem when it's time to sell your home. The most obvious problem is pet odor. You can avoid this by being scrupulously diligent about scooping the litter box. Nothing turns a buyer off more than odors, pet odor and cigarette odor being the two most offensive.
When you are showing your house, it is very easy for your indoor cat to slip outside. Agents do try very hard to be careful but cats can be very crafty. My suggestion, if at all possible, is to crate your cat during the showings. This way, your furry family member is assured of being safely in the house.
Cat owners enjoy today and love on your furry friend. If you are thinking of a move, I'd love the opportunity to meet with you.
