Weather Update from My friend Margie Lovel from Friends of Kanaha.
Here is the update on Hector from Maui Weather Today: "Hurricane Hector will move nearly due west tonight through Friday before Hector begins to gain some latitude over the weekend. Gusty trade winds are expected through Thursday, with the peak or strongest winds expected this afternoon through tonight. The trades are expected to begin easing back to moderate levels Thursday night and Friday, as Hector pulls further away from the state, with moderate trade winds continuing through the weekend and into early next week." Our high pressure producing trade winds has pushed Hector south...yea! Let's go sail!
Love Margie's love of windsurfing on Maui. She gives us daily updates on Facebook so I am always informed of current conditions on Maui.
Have a great Maui Day, Aloha Steve.
