Have you thought about co-ownership?
My clients are purchasing a very large home together. These are two sisters that sold their homes and decided to live together. The home they are buying has a pool, separate master suites, landscaped private lot, a two car garage and a finished lower level. There is plenty of room for each one to have privacy and yet still share the luxury of a beautiful home much nicer than a single home for each.
One can sure live a lot better sharing a home instead of renting. By sharing expenses, utilities, splitting the mortgage, pool maintenance etc..
this just may be something to think about.
Each person would get the advantage of home ownership.
But it is not just for saving expenses, it is for a quality of living. Many people vacation together, enjoy spending time together, have meals together and now are thinking about sharing a home together.
There are those who travel, live outside of Maryland for part of the year or have weekend places or jobs that require time away. This could be the kind of situation that would work for certain home owners. Have you even thought of co-ownership?
One of my listeners told me about room mates who bought a condo and used it as a stepping stone.
They were able to save, build equity and after several years sold for a profit. They then bought a larger property together.
Homes with separate master bedrooms…perfect for sharing and co-ownership where each person can equally share the house.
I have a few homes this would work.
Check out these properties below and think of co-ownership.
