The times are a change'n

By
Real Estate Agent with Bailey Properties

There is change in the air...  Home sales are up in Santa Cruz County and the price irrosion have slowed- maybe stopped.  Lower end homes are selling again with very attractive and safe loans available.  The mis market seems to be encouraged as well.  Even the more depressed higher density areas in our county are starting to improve.

Of course this is the start of the 'buy/sell' season for homes so it will be interesting to watch as the summer goes on to see if this strength continues.  As always you can check my website for the latest available market data.  www.BobBickers.com

I've seen so many headlines like this in the past few days. I LOVE it. I think a large part of the downturn was the media saying that the sky was falling. That created the perception and eventual truth that the sky was falling. Of course there were other factors involved, but I think headlines sped the process. Now, I'm hoping that headlines can help change perception that we're on our industry is on its way back.

There are some great bargains to be found right now.  And it looks like folks are starting to take advantage.  If prices hold steady at this point, the overall market should start looking up soon.

I agree things are picking up in Atlanta, GA as well.  It may be just the usual buy/sell time of the year for the market. We shall see.
