This Saturday and Sunday, a staple of Colorado’s food scene comes around Denver for an all weekend food festival. That’s right the annual Taste of Colorado is back for everyone to enjoy, this Labor Day weekend in Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park. Running 11:00am to 10:00pm each day, this free admission festival will provide anyone with an adventurous palette or big appetite the ability to have a wide range of different foods come into your scrutiny and taste adventure. In Denver property management, there are many festivals that come around your place of work each year. Some stay and some go, but some have staying power that requires no advertising. If you ask many of our clients and tenants who have lived here at least two years, everyone will know a Taste of Colorado by name, and will have possibly been by to try it. This is shaping to be one of the biggest years yet, due to the influx of people and economic growth. If you have not yet been round to try it, this may be the Labor Day weekend for you to try it. That is assuming of course, that you don’t have any plans already. With the weather continually holding in the milder 80-degree days, with breezy nights, many people pack up and try to get into the mountains for one last time before the weather becomes extra unpredictable. Although, going into the mountains at that time does have its benefits, mainly the changing leaves, but we will blog more about those things to do later in September. For now we direct your attention to the local and worldly cuisine, music stages and shopping, artisans in the arts and crafts marketplace and all the interactive games and activities for all the children in attendance, all of which is available to you, the pastor of the Taste of Colorado festival, which has been described quite truthfully as the ultimate end of summer opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the sounds, tastes, and sights of Colorado’s diverse cultural traditions and Western heritage, fully on display for those that would be in attendance of this glorious end of summer bash. For more information, a site and venue map, any additional information, a full vendor list, what to expect and other material you can visit www.atasteofcolorado.com or check out their many different social media accounts. You can check out Facebook, @aTasteofCO on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and search out the hashtag #ATasteofCO to find out what people are posting and how to prepare yourself for the event.
