Wordless Wednesday - Nature's Surprises

I was walking a lot with a seller this past weekend, helping them formulate their exterior prep list as they work their way towards getting their home market-ready. I was shocked when I came upon this gigando mushroom (on the left below)! I had never seen one quite that large in our area and remarked that it had to be removed.

Not far away was, what appeared to be a stuffed dog toy (right photo below) - I pointed to it and asked what it was. They laughed and said that this was a 'dying' mushroom of the same species of the one on the left in the photo!

Mushrooms

I found it fascinating and, of course, snapped a few photos. I still think the one on the right looks like a stuffed dog toy! Do you agree?

Anyway, Happy Wednesday everyone! May natures surprises captivate you today...

Whoa . . .  huge mushroom on the left Debe Maxwell, CRS, though I never would have guessed the pic on the right was the same mushroom, in it's dying phase.  No clue as to what it looks like . . .  except not something I would want to step in!

Never know what you will get to see while showing homes and walking lots. We had some heavy rains about a week ago and tons of new mushrooms popped out all over the place here.

I can see you have fun showing properties to clients and you're very creative too! I'm of the opinion, parents and teachers aren't the only ones who have eyes in the back of their head, real estate agents are always seeing the obvious, not so obvious, and great discoveries!

That is a huge mushroom. I do agree the one on the right looks soft and fluffy.
