I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that lightbulb moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate or the other professions that I never knew, about a place, or about a person. Or, it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!

Candice has a way of telling her story that makes us laugh, smile, and shake our heads in agreement. It's also a gentle warning!

August 13: Lise Howe WD-40 A Lifesaver Yesterday! You Should Always Have a Can on Hand.

We always have several cans at home but what a good reason to carry one in your car!

August 14: John Henry How a Facelift can improve Marketability of older product or "new" homes.

When I read John's post, several homes I've seen came into mind. If you have one of those homes that but for the elevation or exterior could be very marketable, read on!

August 15: Ron and Alexandra Seigel When It comes to Villains on Stamps, Magic is In the Details.

This is so important. Be aware of how your message may be received!

August 16: Sally and David Hanson The Lender Requires..."Claimed the Selling Agent."

This is what I mean that you can learn something here every day. Excluded? Conveys? Very enlightening.

August 17: Paul Peck Video: How to skim coat a wall after drywall repairs-DIY drywall tips

In so many of my staging consultations, I've suggested that my clients remove a mirror (or several.) Paul has done an excellent video for this and he has others!

August 18: Doug Dawes Do You Know...

I think for the most part we do, but we need to be reminded!!!
