Here is a great quote by Mark Twain that I really like because I can relate to it.

I knew very early in life what my purpose in life is and that is to show the beauty of the world through the lens of my cameras.

I can show viewers the beauty of places they have never seen and places they have may have seen and what to visit again.

 

Alaska by Robert Swetz

 

Here is a great shot I captured on our drive from Anchorage to Homer and if you look real close you can see people standing by the shore of the Kenai Bay. This gives you a better example of just how big the rock is on the right side of the photo.

You should mention that those mountains are 60 miles away so people get an idea of how BIG Alaska really is. It's huge and B-E-A-utiful!

Hi Robert Vegas Bob Swetz ,  agree that is a pretty large rock compared to the people on shore.  I find great meaning in the Mark Twain quote.  For a number of years our family has found these 3 questions important:

Alaska holds a lot of beautiful vistas!  There is a special connection between Alaska and Hawaii... maybe one day you'll find out what that is.

Hello Georgie and I agree on the Alaska Hawaii connection.

I think people with money that are retired have a home in Hawaii for the winter months and then come summer they go to their other home in Alaska.

Both places of beauty and only a skip and a jump across the pacific in a jet airplane ;o)
