The Green Valley neighborhood of Minot North Dakota as established and built through the 1950's and 60's. This neighborhood has several similarities to the two other neighborhoods I've profiled in the month of August 2018. It's a neighborhood built on the banks of the Souris River and thus it has also experienced two total rebuilds do to two 100 year floods with-in a 50 year period. As with the other profiles mentioned earlier Green Valley is also located in the Sunnyside school district.
As you can see from the following pictures the neighborhood has a diverse mix of home styles through it. An educated guess would be that the average home price in Green Valley would be in the lower $300,000 range.
The last home shown is one of my favorite homes in Minot. It's much more massive then what one picture can show. There is a winding driveway at the other end of the home that leads to 3 more garage stalls. It is on a 3/4 acre lot and the living space is just under 4,000 sq'.
At this time there is only one home listed in the Green Valley area. In the past year 5 homes have sold here ranging from $140,000 to $325,000. The City Assessor has the home above valued at $420,000.
Green Valley is located just off of Burdick Expressway East in Minot North Dakota. It is somewhat of a residential island so as to speak being there is much commercial around it but one would never know that by driving through it. Green Valley is a residential neighborhood that I would love to live in.
