This is only the basics of what happened last week in Anderson County real estate.

Least Expensive Home Reported Sold

The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 700 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.148 acres in the city limits of Anderson.

It sold for $24,000 after being on the market for 30 days. Originally hit the market at $39,000.

Located in the 29624 Zip Code and the Nevitt Forest Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district per MLS listing.

Listing states it is an “Investor Special” and there are no pictures of the interior plus limited details of the home. But it sold quickly despite it being located in an area that many buyers or renters will not find attractive.

The home is over 50 years old, has central electric HVAC, architectural shingle roof, public sewer and water. Tile and hardwood flooring.

The listing says the home is tenant occupied but does not give any details on the amount they are getting. Also it says no showings but that is probably to discourage tire kickers and time wasters that would disturb the tenants.

Still, this is property best suited for an experienced investor.
