Brevard County, Florida Residential Market Report July 2018

 

This report provides a summary of the Brevard County, Florida Residential Market for July 2018 compared to July 2017.

 

 

 

Closed Sales were up 9.6% for July 2018 with 958 units closed compared to 874 in July 2017.

 

Cash sales increased 0.5% in July 2018 compared to July 2017.

 

New Pending Sales were down -6.2%.

 

New Listings were down -9.4%.

 

The Median Sales Price for Brevard County, Florida Single Family homes is up 4.1% to $229,000 in July 2018 compared to July 2017, when it was $220,000.

 

Months’ Supply of Inventory is up 10.7% to 3.1 months, an increase from 2.8 months in July 2017.

 

Traditional Sales are up 11.3%, compared to July 2017with a median sales price of $230,000.

 

Foreclosure/REO Sales were down -34.5%, with a median sales price of $140,000.

 

Short Sale Closings were down -20%, with a median sales price of $140,000.

Good to see the short sale and foreclosure numbers down.  I suspect they are getting more and more rare these days?

Short sales and foreclosures are down here but are going up in some areas of the state...hate to see that happen.
