Wild West Fest - Tahoe Donner Sept 1 2018

Grab your cowboy, or cowgirl boots and get ready to have some western fun at the Tahoe Donner end-of-summer Wild West Fest event on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Alder Creek Adventure Center.

If you don't have plans for this holiday weekend, consider driving up and checking out this, or other local events!

The theme is western, and they have a number of activities lined-up for the Tahoe Donner Wild West Fest. 

Here is the schedule of events:

• 3- 3:30 p.m.  Wild West Horse Show
• 3-4:30 p.m. Line Dancing Lessons
• 3-7 p.m.  Craft Corral, Roping Station and Western Dress-Up Photo Booth
• 4-6 p.m.  Pony Rides for kids ages 2 - 6
• 4:30 - 4:45 p.m.  Truckee Donner Junior Horsemen Drill Team
• 5-8 p.m.  Live Music with Angele Carroll Trio
• 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Western Style Barbecue Dinner at Alder Creek Cafe (Included with Ticket Purchase - see details down under Event Details)
  • Choice of Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich or Veggie Burger
  • Side of Baked Beans, Coleslaw and Watermelon
• 8 p.m. Say your Good-Byes - Event Ends

The Tahoe Donner neighborhood is a planned master resort community with some private facilities, but this Wild West Fest event is open to the public.  

Now is the time to get in one last summer weekend here in the North Lake Tahoe - Truckee area, and the Wild West Fest is a fun way to spend some time outside.

Here are the details of the Tahoe Donner Event:

Wild West Fest - Tahoe Donner Sept 1 2018

• When:  Saturday, September 1, 2018, Starting at 3 p.m. ending at 8 p.m.
• Where:  Tahoe Donner Alder Creek Adventure Center, 15275 Alder Creek Road in Tahoe Donner, Truckee, CA
• Parking:  Park at the Alder Creek Adventure Center, or park along the street.
• Cost: 
  • Tahoe Donner Members: Adult $39 | Child (Age  7-12) $24
  • Public: Adult $54 | Child (Age 7-12) $34
  • All Child (Age 2-6) $15
  • All Child (Age 0-2) FREE
• Dinner Menu
  • Choice of Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich or Veggie Burger
  • Side of Baked Beans, Coleslaw and Watermelon
• Beverages Separate Purchase:  Beer and/or Wine available for sale (must be 21+ age)

• Labor Day Fireworks - Gar Woods Grill and Pier, Carnelian Bay, CA Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 starting at 8:30 p.m.  Fundraiser for The Monte Foundation benefiting North Tahoe Sports Programs.
• Free Music Concert at Commons Beach, Tahoe City, CA  Sunday, September 2, 2018 starting at 4 p.m. This is the last event of the season!
