Brokers SHOULD be called "Together-ers" !

Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

. There is often talk of the image of real estate agents...and ways we caMirrorn improve that image...from the adherence and beyond that enforcement of the code of just plain using common sense as a guideline for behavior...being considerate of Buyer or a Seller regardless of what side of the transaction you represent. From behavior as a guest in someone else's home at a showing to responding promptly to questions, offers, amendments, counter offers, requests for access for inspections, etc.

The generic term that the public...and the industry often uses for real estate "agents" Brokers...whether or not the individual really IS a opposed in Wisconsin licensing status to a sales agent who has less experience and less education.

Broke Broke Broke...hmmmm but what our goal REALLY is "Together" !  It can mean compromise by both Buyer and can mean flexibility in some parts of the transaction...the "happily ever after" Broken mirrorgoal is TOGETHER....not Broken,....but the very best whole transaction that can be crafted by all parties involved.

If you read our blog posts know that we have words we have added to the real estate dictionary....and have given to AR members to coin....Thinventory, Curbalicious...Togetherer is a little bit clumsy...doesn't roll right off the tongue...needs a little more thought to best describe the very distinguished role that a real estate agent plays in the lives of Buyers and Sellers...Can you think of one ? It should be warm, comforting and distinguished. It should conjure an image of Trustworthiness and Education...Service to the communities we have the privilege of working within every day.

This has been a Professional Image post brought to you by Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates who always work toward "Togetherness" in real estate transactions in southeastern Wisconsin.

Sally, you need to publish a real estate dictionary. I've always loved your term "thinventory." Will have to think on the togetherer, you're right doesn't quite roll off the tongue.

People in general are not as trusting these days, which leads to them not fully trusting an agent that they do not know, but the transaction is a lot smoother if both sides trust each other.

Sally and David I need to give some thought to what new term would be appropriate for the Mortgage Industry.

Thanks for the Professional Image Post.

Have you noticed in movies how flighty the architect image has been portrayed??
You have a philanderer in Intersection with Richard Gere.  Loved the Benz!
Tom Hanks is one playing against Meg Ryan.  Goofy guy.

Dustin Hoffman is helpless in Kramer vs. Kramer.

In Mr. Blanding Builds His Dream House the architect is rather opportunistic.

Realtors tend to be shown as rather sharp characters!

I missed the post on thinventory, but love it, as it accurately describes our "thin inventory" in certain price ranges. I like the term matchmaker. I'm sure there are others.
