Paragon VS Matrix

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Gwen Fowler Real Estate, Inc 10307

Our MLS has been with Paragon for over 10 years.  This past spring the board of directors decided to change us over to Matrix.  The learning curve has been very hard.  For anyone who uses Matrix, I have the following problems and need solutions.

1) Is there a way to print out a monthly report showing the number of agents and clients who have viewed the listing that can be printed and emailed/mailed to the client?

2) Is there a report that is interactive so that when it shows the "expireds" you can click on that to see a list of what has expired?

What features of the Matrix do you love and use every day?  What feature makes your life easier?

We were told that with Matrix we no longer needed a company website, as the matrix can do everything a company website does. If you are using Matrix do you have your own website?  If so do you send the potential buyer to Matrix or to your site?  Sellers to your site or to Matrix? I have a lot of time and money invested in my site and I have a hard time letting it go, just because someone decided that Matrix was a better idea.

Hi Gwen, each Matrix has a few differences, as Colorado Springs has it too, but several things differ.   On ours, under My Matrix, and go to listings.   Click on the listing you are needing this data.    Have to say, this is not always a good sign, as sometimes our buyers do another search within the system, and not always what I set up.    Think once you get used to it, you will love it.

We use Paragon and I hope they don't change it.  Always such a hardship having to switch providers and learn a whole new system.

Hi Gwen.  I believe you should be able to set up a search for expired with a date range of 1 day, so you can see the most recent expired listings.

I would not rely on your Matrix website to bring you any business.

And, I don't know about the listing report, though I believe there is one somewhere.
