If your market is like the Charlotte area market we start getting busy the end of January and then get into a frenzy until end of June. July was pretty busy but started to slow down with beach trips and family vacations. Luckily for me, by mid August I had enough down time to move into a new house and care for an injured pet (made the moving experience more challenging!).
I always get excited with the start of September. I've had just enough of a break and R&R to get me excited about next year's spring market. Just like a kid starting school, I gather my supplies and lists and start to make business plans before the frenetic pace of the Spring market hits. I will use this time to take the advice of many of you and work on testimonials, social media, bloggin and SEO. I am looking forward to making myself and assistant more effiecient come January and have even better systems in place to make my client's transactions better.
