Grandpa, can I go fishing with you?
Although this is a fun blog, it also has an underlying theme.
William Has taken time with a Grand Child.
He has made a great memory.
WE don't always make time for these situation s be it our won child, a relatives
child or a Grand Child.
Let's let William's experience be a lesson for us all to engage our youth.
After all, they will be choosing our retirement home!
I enjoy my morning fishing excursions a lot.
Just me with my blank mind.
The other day my Grand daughter asked if she could go with.
HMMM, she isn't a chatty Kathy, so ok.
Now she has not fished in 5 years.
But there is no pressure on her.
The pressure was on Grandpa!!!
Without dragging the story out,
just as we were going to go to shore...
Bam!!!
4 feet from the boat this big guy hits her lure.
37 inch Northern Pike. about 15 pounds.
After a few photo's the big guy (or gal) was released and swam away!
Pressure was off of Grandpa!
Oh, and Grandpa caught enough fish to weigh about 1/2 the weight of the grand daughters!
